Townkeeper is a tool for quickly generating and saving populated towns for Dungeons and Dragons or other RPG worlds. It will create and staff shops with randomized names and NPCs. NPCs are complete with describable features and character traits.

In its current state Townkeeper can generate a very large number (over 65 trillion) of unique NPCs, although admittedly the variance is largely found in names rather than the more dramatic character traits. The current shop generation is rather limited while I work to improve the randomization system to be a bit easier to develop for. All that being said, it should be entirely functional as a tool, and I hope you can find it useful!
